Default Not always about the catching

Yesterday was our first time to go fishing since Sippi camp. Some of you already know Paul hurt his knee and has been in a lot of pain and off work since we got home Oct 19th. He went back to work on Thursday and is doing much better. He still has physical therapy 3 days this week. Anyway, he felt pretty good this weekend so we headed up to Big Sandy yesterday. We covered water from 9 to 20 fow with the most results in the 12 -14 foot range. Unfortunately, they were all dinks or 1/2 inch too short. Didn't mind though. It was a beautiful day and the water was calm, which is usually a rarity for us. Saw a couple of eagles soaring and just had a really good time.

Fixed a good supper after we got home. Venison lasagna (lightened up version) and a fresh salad.

If you stayed til late evening, you might have hear some cormorants croaking. Been a long time since I saw some roosting at the lake.
