Those Bastards! Hope they hang them!
If you have boat or gear stored in any of the storage places between Clinton and Warsaw or along the road to Bucksaw you should be checking them and using the best padlock possible. My son and I lost all fourteen of our long dipping and rigging rods and a few other miscellaneous things. Lock was cut off. Discovered yesterday, not sure when it happened. Deputy sheriff we talked with said there had been a real rash of it lately at multiple different storage places.

I hope they catch them. They hit drfishjd's unit twice in the same week. Came back a second time to try to remove the front depth finder off his boat. Luckily they couldn't get that one out.

I hate thieves. Sure hope we catch them before the law so we can rough em up for a bit.

Maybe a few of us could mount trail cams up high in the units and see if we could help the local sherrif.

Got to see dr.fishjd today when he came in to replace some rods and reels that he lost. I went down to Bucksaw today to get some fire wood left at my camp site and swung by and checked on OneRookie's storage unit. All is well with it. I also checked the ones closer to the entrance as I left. I was not sure which one for sure that G.Gordon/kcbrown uses so just checked them all in that section.
I have been in touch with Gordon and he said his unit is ok. He was going to stop by today to take inventory.
That sucks!
Need to get one of those signs for the door that reads:
A Marine Sniper stays here two days a week. You guess which days.

Thanks all for your sentiments. As to the last suggestion of the sign saying a Marine sniper stays there two nights a week, I happen to have a son who was one (or Marine infantry, anyway, if not actual sniper) so there could be more truth to such a sign than you might think. I'm sure that storage unit would be a more pleasant place to spend the night with his gun in his lap than some of the spots he spent with his gun in his lap in Helmand province of Afghanistan!
