    Default Post Election Slaberation/pics

In celebration of the airways being freed up it was time hit the water. And hit it we did. Another cool day with the temp at 34. Water was 43. We started slow and with small fish. We changed up the pattern to smaller jigs. Along with the change came the slabs and numbers. The bite was not as fast as some days but none the less it was entertaining. We were using a winter method and fishing strait down using the fish finder to see the fish attack our baits. We boated several 14-15 with those 15 being the largest. I once had a double with a 14 and 15 on at the same time. That made for some fun. In all we landed and released 75 in 4 hours.

Wow some great looking blacks there and great pictures. What really strikes me is the mirror like water surface that if I recall correctly is how many of your other pictures always appears. Does the wind ever blow in Maine or do you only go out on those kind of days? We sure don't see much of that here in Kansas. Thanks for posting.

Those crappie that you catch in Maine always look so healthy and colorful. The scenery is great too! Nice fish.

It blows. I like to fish the calm days best. Or at least places that are calm. Today was one of those calm days. With the cooler temps one needs all the help he can get.

Hey Bee, Thanks for sharing over the years. You are one grateful guy catching fish like that. I really like your transducer mount on the back. Goes to show old school is still best for you all. Some of the prettiest fish pics I have ever seen. I have been to Maine a few times and it is some beautiful country for sure. I think we should take up a donation for a new net. You done wore that one clean out! LOL Curious if you would share your lures in the next pics ?

You're right about that! I try not to be seen in public with either one of them. BEE always wants to fish where there's no one round.
