    Thanks! I always enjoy reading these. Of special interest this month was the use of blade baits for bottom jigging. We've used blades for smallmouth and lake trout up here, but haven't considered them for crappie. Hopefully there will be enough open water (ice free) for a few more weeks so we can explore this option. If we have any success, I will keep you posted.
