    Default Ct. River System

We hit several areas off the main river (oxbows) and did pretty well yesterday. Got about 25 - 30 fish each (2 fishermen). Various species including some small yellow and white perch, crappie, small smallmouth bass and small northern pike. However, we did hit on some bigger specimens when we started working the open water areas around rip rap. Here's a few pics from yesterday:

Breeze picked up a bit and it started to actually cool down some. Hit this brute then:

All in all a fine fall day. Biggest producer was a custom tied road-runner type jig (made by "skiptomylu" here on crappie.com). Pattern producing was chart/black/chart. Going to give it another whirl tomorrow if the weather holds.
