Not too much other than some bass. Few small crappie. Pretty shallow and stumpy. Lots of Lilly pads and grass. I'd choose a different weekend for it cuz u will get ran out by duck hunters. Gets crowded on middle zone opener.
I was talking to a conservation worker when I pulled the boat out yesterday. He told me about a small lake near Camdenton. The lake is called Niangua Lake. He mentioned Tunnel Dam, said it is not fished very much. Has anyone every fished this? What I've read about it so far is that it is shallow, but a small boat might do ok. I'm about to make a road trip to check it out this weekend, but thought I would ask about it.

I Agree with above!! I will add the road to get there can eat a truck alive
The lake is just like described above. Hard to get around with a prop motor because of all the vegetation. If you have a jet boat you can go up the river several miles.
Rugged country but is worth a trip to just look around, fished it once and my report is just as described above but I was there very early in the spring after a big rain and conditions were pretty bad but I had heard several years ago it had some big black fish in it but I didn't find any proof.
