Default Video Of Planer Board Running and Catching

I was taking a video of boards running and just happen to catch a board getting hit. The crappie was small only 8" and hit the nearest board to the boat about 15-20ft out. The furthest board is 48ft. from the boat, we were using 1/8oz jigs running at.8mph.

Nice video. How slow can you troll and they still work?

You can use these boards from 0-2mph. The reason I say 2mph is I've never heard of anyone pulling them faster. Sitting still they will float like a bobber and if you get hung and have to break your line the board will float up to the top of the water.

Do they stay attached to your line while fighting fish or do they pop off? If they do come off do you run a seperate line to them for retrieval purposes? How many ounces of weight can you run on them?

Board stays attached to your line. Can't tell you a exact weight but people have pulled Bandit 300's with 55ft of line out behind them at 2mph. Working on instructional video but feel free to call me my number is on my website.
