When I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations I have a good day
54 fillets sounds like enough for a pretty big supper. Nice catch.

Hey Seeker:
I'd take 27 gooduns any day! Try the Sam's Super Sensitive yet?
I did try it and it was nice. I only used it for a few minutes, but plan to use it more next time. Ice was freezing up in my guides, so I used mostly shorter rods so I could dip the ice out easier.
next time spray the line guides with Reel Magic or other silicone spray - and the icing up of the guides shouldn't be as much of a problem. (that's what I've heard, anyway ...LOL! ) If that works (and it should), you might also want to spray the line on your reel to keep it from freezing together (if it's THAT cold) ............cp
crappieseeker, how many of the 27 you took home were over 10"?
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
I'd say about 20 of them were over 10. Alabama has a 9 inch limit. I hooked several real nice fish that got off before I could ever get a net close to them, checked my hooks and there was no problem. Maybe I just didnt have a good hook set.
20 crappie over 10" would be considered a great day on my lake
