That very same idea hit me two days ago. Put a black light under water on your jigs. I have read that prolong exposure is not good with these lights. But would the light blind the fish??? Good question and I will follow!
Anyone ever tried fising this combo? The UV lights really make flourescent colors glow but would it spook fish?
If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing

Seemed like a good ideal at the time.Thought there might be more responses.

First off I don't think the fish see UV the same as humans under a black light so what the fish actually see I do not know I base more theory on glow in the dark pigment also the action of your jig or plastic bait that is what triggers the fish to strike no worry you'll get some more thoughts on this there is a lot of pro and con. funny thing about this as I do use uv feathers also I use powder paint uv whether it does any good or not that's another question I tried uv jig and I used one without uv it didn't seem to matter they both caught the same amount of fish. I think flourescent colors are to catch fishermen.

Thanks for the reply Bob. I have put some of your glow plastics under blacklight and they really do light way up.
Just a brain storm I had and was looking for others opinions.
