It looks like it was a wonderful fishing trip. I love those fall colors and the fish looks appetizing too!
Today was another fine day to be fishing. Temps were cool at 39. Water was 57. It started out calm and with a good bite. After a good catch we moved a couple times and never did find the fish we had hoped for. We went to out starting spot and got a few more. On our way back I was watching the Finder for some signs of life. Low and behold I found another spot with another spieces to catch. White Perch were on the bite. We put 60 crappie onboard with all a few released. The perch count was on the upward side of 40. Again the crappie were nice size and fat.

Looks like my kind of place! Always so calm and beautiful. Are there a lot of good crappie fishing lakes in Maine? Always think more of heading south for crappie. Wife and I have made several trips to Maine and Nova Scotia and love it up there. Would be interested in including some crappie fishing with a vacation there. Any good ideas on areas to check on?
