    Default PONDTOON INFO

Would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. I am thinking about getting a PONDTOON. I know there was a lot of info from someone who got one and fixed it all up. I can't remember who it was and can't find any of the posts about it. If I get some info on him maybe I could PM him. Thanks!!!

I have an 18 ft. Sweetwater pontoon that i modified for fishing. I pulled the front seats and put two chairs and some rod holders and installed a hand trolling motor on the bow.

Thanks for all the info, the videos and pictures were great. I can't believe the way you have that rigged up. I wouldn't know where to start. Do you like it now that you are fishing out of it? How is it if a little windy and rough? Load and unload pretty easily? I have a little trouble moving around, bad knees, looks easy to get around on and stable!?!? I have saw pictures where you can pull it up to shore and just step on. Does that work? Thanks again for everything!!!

The boat floats just fine. I like it. Folks run me down on the water just to look and and questions. Several members here have fished from it. They still alive and kicking.

There are other members here that have this type boat.

Anyone can put a boat together. There is plenty of help here on c.com. I asked a lots of questions and sought advice as I built my rig. Advice here is priceless.

Here is what mine looked like when first delivered. Pieces in boxes which I assembled and placed where I wanted the stuff.

First thing I did was to mount the engine.
