Default Where would you go ?

Hello: Looking for advice on where to go fishing within the next 2 weeks. I'm from east central Iowa and would like it to be within a 650 mile drive. Thank You. Good Luck

I have to think that the "Big Four" are going to get good in the next couple of weeks. (or at least that is what I am hoping). Looks like Grenada is only about 500 miles... (only 500 miles)

Where ever you decide, if you are only gonna fish 2 or 3 days I would weigh out the cost of dragging a boat or hiring someone to take you out. Got a buddy that travel back and forth to Illinois a good bit that leaves his boat at my house from time to time and it saves him 300 bucks a trip.

Heck, if you are going to spend that much time and money consider Reelfoot, Grenada or Guntersville.

I would say bypass reelfoot for this year. They are having one of their worst years ever. I would drive the extra millage and hit Grenada. Plus the chance at a 3lb slab is pretty enticing.
