Might try: Grizzly Jig Company - Reels
Where's the best place to get some cheaper bait casters.
Depends on whether you're actually looking for a "cheap" baitcaster, or a quality baitcaster at a "cheap" price.
You might look at your local baitshops, and see if they have a consignment counter (or used reel section). I've bought several good quality reels from Backwater Outfitters (Lex. Ky), from their consignment shelf.
Your local Wally World may have some models of Quantum, Abu Garcia, and Pflueger baitcast reels for under $40.

Try www.sportsmansguide.com.....I bought some Quantum baitcasters with thumb bars there back in the spring....perfect for spider rig poles for 18 bucks apiece
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Can you recall the name of them. Looked on sportsmans guide didn't find any in that price range. That's what I'm looking for tho.
I just bought 4 Daiwa Laguna baitcasters from Sport Chalet for $30 each - shipped. I noticed the next day the price went up to $45, so their prices move around, but good prices are there if you're patient. Also, check Ebay - sometimes, especially with a "buy it now" type sale, a seller will have multiples available at the shown price and shipping is typically combined by the seller when you buy more than one...
You have to keep an eye on the Sportsman's Guide website because items drop off when their inventory is gone and new items pop up almost every day. I've also had good luck with both Ebay, local craigslist ads and yard sales for lower-cost tackle.
