Woww, you folks sure do know how sto catch some beauties, and those fall colors are beautiful also. Congrats..
My friend Maineac and I hit the water early today. Plan was good but the fog slowed us down. Our 5 min. boat ride took 20. The day started of very slow for us. We landed a few small ones and then started to move around. the first big one we got was a 20 inch Largmouth. Big surprise. We moved to some deeper water and found some shiners on the surface. Next the finder showed suspended fish. from then on it was Slab time. We landed 70 crappie. Largest being 15 in. Lots of 11-14. Air temp was 33 to start and 63 at the end. Some very nice fall colors to make it nice to look at. All fish were released.

Beautiful scenery & beautiful fish. Doesn't look too crowded either. Calm winds (here it's about 30 mph right now) makes for a great day on the lake. Great post & pics.
