Default Suggestions For A Good Boat Heater??

Anyone have any suggestions for a good heater for the boat? I do a lot of night fishing and those nites do get a little chilly. especially this time of the year! Think safety too. Would hate to have an on-board fire this time of the year and have to take a dip to get away. Dont mind paying a little money for a good heater but am also looking for something somewhat economical to operate. Anyone have any suggestions with "likes" or "dis-likes" about what they have?

I like the Mr. Heater Buddy thing, if you aren't afraid to spend a few dollars, you can use it with the little bottles or you can buy the hose assembly to use the big bottles of propane. Here is the link to the one that BPS sells.

I tried my Mr. Heater buddy. Wednesday and just a little breeze would put out the pilot light and turn it off. Anyone else had this problem?

I guess I'm a sissy, when it gets so cold I have to have a heater on board, this ol boy heads towards the house.

Has anyone tried Coleman's Sport Cat catalytic heater? It seams very compact. How much heat do they make?

I read on the SC board about heaters they had some experience with. There were several suggestions. Some mentioned the wind blowing out the pilot light.
    Might be worth a look

I use one. I had an ultralite frabill ice shanty that it would heat so good i had to take my coat off. Even when it was 10* outside. Just be careful bending over it as my coat touched it and it burned my coat instantly. Only had that coat 3 days before that.

May I suggest some warmer clothes instead. Try heatfactory.com or www.clamcorp.com/icearmor_blue.html. Cabela's is particularly good at winter outerwear. It really shouldn't take much to keep you warm in any weather you get down there.
