    Default Moose Complicated Things Again!!!!!!!

I always thought that the Crappies main dish wuz minnows. What do I know. I always figured if the were hungry, the gonna eat. Since they are preditors, the will eat 'bout anything they can get in their mouth. I don't have any clue as to their ocular capabilities, but I would bet they react more on instinct than anything. I have caught crappie on corn kernels, so maybe they are also vegeterians. I don't know. Wish we had a fish doctor here to help us. Weather is "the big factor" outside the spawn, of this I am sure.

    Default keep it coming Moose

I agree with everything Moose wrote. ( Mainly because I read a lot of it in In-Fisherman)(lol) but because I can't remember that stuff, I'll just try to match my bait size and profile to what is available to them crappies depending on the time of year. I think they will eat what ever is handy, if what they prefer is not readily available. Much like me I might add. I still enjoy reading all that technical stuff although I may drift off.
