Some River Crappie Fishing Fun *Pics*
Now, when I got my boat 2 years ago, I'd take off to the river for bass and pike fishing, take the heavy rods and hit the water. BUT, now that I've gone back to down sizing my rods, reels, and tackle. I started heading to the river with PANFISH on the brain, hehe. That is after I widened my fishing abilities with the use and helpful hand of some newer plastics than what I was used too.
I started out in the spring using jigheads and little tubejigs. Then I moved up and back to little cruly tail grubs (old school), then I tried these things called a paddle tail grub. WOW, these are awesome.
Now armed with my UL and ML rods, 1/16 oz, 1/8 oz jigheads, and 6# mono, I head to the river looking for the gills, perch, and crappies.
It's always fun to have a partner in the boat to share the fun.
But, the fishing get hot and no one wants to take a picture on every cast, hehe. So, I needed to learn how to take pictures with one hand on the camera and the other hand on my fish.
You get some funny looking angles in your shots, but when your boating over 50 fish a trip to the river, who really cares. And when your with the camo, my boat parnters are on the fish too.
We even tie up 2 or 3 boats together then we really get into a pile of fishies.
We even get other fishies at times.
