Catching bass

I fishing for crappie but keep catch decent sized LMB. Is it anything I doing wrong. I use various of crappie lures.

No ... it happens. The Bass are just getting to the bait before the Crappie, or the Bass are more interested in that bait than the Crappie are.

I use road runners, crappie magnets, crappie nibbles, shadpole, etc. Maybe they not where I go. I only seen stripe bass, LMB, shad.

I really fish all over in Knoxville. It's a lake. Don't really understand what u asking.

I see folks made brush piles near the shore. I try there but not caught a crappie there yet.
