Yes, you'll have to "enable" the WAAS function. Press "Menu" twice to get to the "Main Menu" and then scroll down to "Set Up" and press "Enter" and scroll down to "WAAS" and press "Enter" and scroll down to "Enabled" and press "Enter". Then press "Quit" twice or "Page" once to save your setting and exit "Set Up" and Menu.

One correction - press "Menu" twice to get to the menu that has "Set Up" on it. If you just press "Menu" once it brings up the menu for the current page. Pressing "Menu" the second time brings up the "Main Menu". I'll edit my previous post to reflect this correction.
