    2005 Spring Fling Crappie Tournament
    Hosted by Eden Marina & Campground
    Tournament Date: April 23rd – 7AM launch … 3:30PM Weigh-in
    Fish Fry Buffet Social: April 24th – 2PM
    Tournament to be held on Watts Bar Lake

    **** Rules & Regulations / Entry Form ****

    1) Only 2 anglers per boat. No sharing of fish between boats.
    2) Anglers must fish from a boat and remain in boat while fishing.
    3) Horsepower CANNOT exceed Coastguard regulation limits for boat.
    4) Safe conduct must be observed at all times by all contestants. Each Angler is required to wear a Coastguard approved PFD at all times while outboard engine is in operation. All boats must be equipped with an approved ignition kill device, which must be attached to driver while underway.
    5) Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation is expected from all anglers.
    6) Artificial or legal live bait will be permitted.
    7) All Crappie must be caught in a sporting manner and kept in an aerated condition until weighed in. Minimum size limit is 10 inches, measured mouth closed and tail squeezed. Only 10 fish per boat will be weighed in. You may cull your catch at the dock to determine your 10 largest fish. NO DEAD FISH WILL BE WEIGHED IN.
    8) You may launch your boat from any launch site on Watts Bar Lake, but you must be at Eden Marina Weigh-in area by 3:30PM (local time). A late penalty of 1 pound for every 15 minutes late will be removed from your total weight.
    9) Ties will be settled by coin toss.
    10) Decisions made by Tournament Officials are final in all matters.
    11) This Entry form must be signed by all anglers of each boat, and in the hands of Tournament Officials by 6:30AM on the day of the tournament. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of all anglers of that boat.

    There will be a Fish Fry Buffet Social at 2PM on the day after the tournament. There will be a $10 per boat registration fee for those who intend to attend. This fee is only for those who attend the meal, and is solely for the purpose of purchasing food and preparation items. If you don’t plan to eat with us on Sunday, there is no registration fee to fish in the tournament.

    By the signatures below, we certify that we have read, understand, and agree to abide by the rules of this tournament. We hereby waive and release the Officials, Hosts, Sponsors, Agents, State, City, and County Governments, and all other contestants from any and all claims of injury and or material and or bodily damage incurred in connection with this tournament.

    Good luck weather wise. I'm sure you will all have a great time rain or shine, but I'm sure it will be sunny (with clouds only when you want them). Although with all those fish getting pulled out the water there will probaly be a constant mist over the lake.
