Bald faced hornets!! At least that's what builds those in oklahoma. First good freeze and they will be gone. Flame thrower would work if you had one!
Got any suggestions for getting rid of this? Wish we had a flamethrower!

wait till it freezes.
Get this: Raid Wasp & Hornet Killer - Walmart.com
Wait until it the sun sets, (getting dark), spray the nest liberally with spray.
By waiting until "dark" the wasps have retreated back to the nest for the night.
Check the next day for flying hornets, if none knock down nest and you can dig a hole and bury it.

Heavy Frost and there still could be a few survivors.

A buddy and I took one out of a tree with temps around 50 degrees. They could crawl, but they couldn't fly.

Okay, the pinata thing was really funny!!!
We'd wait til frost but it's in Charlie's favorite potty tree and fairly close to the shop too. It's hanging low enough that Paul could bump his head on it. Temps are supposed to get down in the upper 40's Friday and Saturday nights, so I guess it'll hang til then before eradication begins!
