    Default Fishing is hot

Hit the upper end of the Pomme arm and had 2 limits of real nice fish in a couple of hours.Switched over to crankbaits for white bass and still caught some crappie. As soon as we got out of the shad,no more fish so we went home.Short fishing day but gotta work tomorrow so it was nice to stop early.Color didn't seem to matter, depth didn't seem to matter, action of the jig didn't seem to matter. They were just hungry.Haven't had a day like that for quite a while.Heck ,even I could catch fish when they are biting like that.

Sounds like you had the same kind of day that i had Dave. It feels good to have a day like that. Congrats on getting out and getting after them.

Great post. Glad to hear good news. Not much from LOZ right now. Fished hard and very few to show for it. Water temp rose about 4 degrees from the previous week on my end of the lake.
Looks like I might have to haul the boat down 54 a bit and fish
