You been watching gangs of new york.That was exactly what we did during the war according to the movie.They were getting irish guys right off the boat from ireland and putting rifles in their hands and swearing them in.They went right from one boat to another.The ones who made it home had no questions about their citizenship and became productive mebers of society.I wonder how accurate that potrayal was.Anyway , sounds like a good idea.

That seems fair enough. Back during Viet Nam, if a young man was in trouble with the law, and being senteced, they were given an option. Their records would be cleaned, if they would join the service. Many took the option, and from jail were sent to usually the army or marines. If they want to come here, then that should be the option, and for ladies too. At least the govt would be getting service for the money now being spent. Maybe if this was the case, you would see the strem of illegals change to a trickle.

i agree and im serving now! In fact i think it should be manditory for all males to serve atleast 2yrs.
