    Cool Texas Summer 2014

Summer was great but I'm ready for fall and cooler weather.

Few pics from this summer. Jigs only.
    .
Best fish of the summer was Nick's 1.5# Lake Cooper new Jr. Angler record. My son caught it on the new Bonehead "Stump Bug" with Slabslobber scent.

Great looking fish. I remember when I useta reel 'em in like that. Now, I spend more time zipping my fly than casting it.

I was up in cooper yesterday teal hunting. We stopped by the johns creek ramp and at the state park.... It's very sad looking. Great pictures though, I've always heard that cooper was a good crappie lake.
You think I like to duck hunt? I love to crappie fish!
