Onsey day and another personal best.

Strange day on the water. First fish I caught was a 4 lb walleye. The biggest one I have ever caught. Then it was one of these and one of,those kind of days. Took husband all day to catch 1 keeper fish. It was a white bass on a BIG bass lure. I ended up with the walleye, 1 keeper lm bass, 1 eating size channel cat and 1 smallmouth buffalo. We caught 30-40 small lm bass. Didn't catch many casting. It did catch some while using crawlers for cats. But caught most of them trolling BIG bass cranks. When the bass isnt much bigger than the lure you wonder what are thinking hitting something like that. Was trying to find more walleye but that didn't happen. Tried different lures and plastic but they only wanted the one style lure. Very specific on what they wanted.

sounds like a tough but learning day. but hey you got out,got a few and now a mess for supper, if you kept any.
