Louise and I fished Sunday from 6:30 to 1:30. Things started very slowly. We were fishing timber just off some bluffs…lots of fish…none wanted to play. So we moved to the 154 bridge and fished the piers. Started catching fish 10 to 15 feet down in 60+ fow. Moved to some timber on a point and did well there also. Same depth in about 30 fow. Moved to the point across from the dam fishing timber in 30+ fow. All fish caught 10 to 15 feet deep, on minnows and crappie nibbles. Ended up with 25 keepers over 9 inches. Threw back at least that many.
Wind seemed to really turn the fish on.
Sorry, no pics...I don't take my phone out on the boat...just one more thing to drop into the lake!!!!!
The fishing has really been good at MTL this year, we've had a blast.

Glad you got on to them. One of these days hope it is me congrats.
Excellent post Mark,way to go.
Glad to here that. Hoping this rain doesn't mess everything up. One place in Mo had 10" in 24 hours.
That'll cloud the water up pretty bad. The lake had been as clear as I've seen it in a while. it was pretty clear back in 2012 during the drought, too. Sunday we were able to see timber that hasn't been out of the water for a while...I guess this rain will take care of that.
Glad you guys had a good outing, congrats.
