do you mean literally shaped exactly like minnows? or do you mean minnow style plastic baits that imitate a minnow look?

I was thinking more of the minnow imitations. Like the gulp alive stuff.

    Ship,

Are you still fishing them or imparting action?

I would think still fishing a gulp alive minnow would just look like a dead minnow to a crappie. Wouldnt you alwyas have to impart action on an artificial? Or have enough wave action if float fishing to have it moving down there?

I keep mine moving slowly....then pause....then move slowly under a slip float.

I have used the gulp alive 3" minnows and they work great. They get bites almost as much as live minnows from what I have experience with.
