Doesn't sound too bad to me
Went to the missouri Sunday. Catching stunk. Went from New Haven to Berger island and then fished back down river in various, spots. Rock banks, current, no current, behind dikes and mud, banks. Think we may have caught 6 tiny cats. Biggest was 12". Used worms, hot dogs, chicken liver and stink bait. Didn't have any cut bait. No trotlines in river that we could see. 2 weeks ago it was filled with lines. Couldn't hardly fish because of lines everywhere good to fish. Yesterday husband decided to float local river for the first time this year. Had a good day. Caught lots of bass. Good thing he went yesterday because after the rain last night all local water is screwed up for a while.

your not alone, for me it's been very tough fishing out there this summer. river has been like a yo-yo all year and us rod and reel fisherfolks can't seen to catch a break! oh well, it's almost deer time now, maybe winter fishing will be better.
