Got there around daylight. Struggled at first but then found the honey hole. 28 from 1 spot. Most 10-11". Kept a couple of dinks because they had swallowed the jig. Best day of crappie fishing this year.

Horse flies were bad in the parking lot. They swarmed the truck and were flying into it this morning. Glad they didn't bother us on the water. One gott in the truck and was dead when done fishing. Lol. I hate those things.

RE; Horseflies; true story. We pulled up to a private lake to fish yesterday am. A horsefly was tormenting me from the time I got out of the truck. It landed on the hood and I had a can of Off in my hand and gave him a squirt. It zoomed out over the lake, did a loop and a Peter Pan into the water, buzzed a couple of times and Boom! Hello bass, goodbye fly!
