Default Small Pontoon boats for Crappie

Been thinking about getting a 14 or 16 ft pontoon for crappie fishing. I would like some pro's and con's and maybe some pictures of some setups. If anyone would be interested in helping me out
    I would appreciate it greatly.

I dont have a boat but the only cons I can think of is racing to the other side of the lake or rough water handling. Pros include less draft for getting into those shallow areas, more stable, more comfort and room, more storage, more fishing buddies on board and sealed pontoons make it near unsinkable.

I have no problem getting across the lake. There are several members on c.com that own this type boat. Several c.com members have ridden in my boat. Maybe they will chime in. My neighbor thinks the boat is "cute".

Martyn fishes out of a full grown one, 26 or 28 feet long, pushing minners and pulling cranks. Would love to have one just for pulling cranks in the summer time.

@Cane Pole thank you for proving me wrong on that point. How is the rough water handling? I have never been on one, except the old party barges 30 years ago. You are the expert. Are there any cons? Personally I like toons enough I am searching for a couple cheap used 14' flat bottom jons to build my own version out of. I have the skills, but not the spare bucks. So says SWMBO.

I have an old Cajun pontoon boat set up for fishing that I really like. Wife loves getting in shade under top.
Will use this weekend. Big wind gives us some trouble.
