Default Where Can I Buy Pontoons?

I'm wanting to build my own pontoon boat and I cannot find a source for the pontoons. Anyone know of a site or distributor?

Thanks for the link ibnfishin, I've looked unsuccessfully for several months now and figured someone in here would know of a site that had all the goodies for me to build my own pontoon boat. I tried to call them, but it being Saturday, they're not in today. I'll try again Monday and get some pricing and see if it's feasable and affordable. Being in CT, the shipping will be expensive and I might find out its prohibitive for me to use these guys, but once again, thanks for the link........ I appreciate it, Jim

I always thought these pontoons would be cool to have.

I believe that Catamaran Cruiser sells their plastic pontoons for custom builds.

Jigster, those are some wild pontoons is all I have to say, thanks for sharing. As far as prices, the best I can tell at this point is the pricing of pontoons along with the shipping expense will make this project cost prohibitive. I'm better off finding an old pontoon boat and buying it outright. Every once in a while, you'll come across an older pontoon boat that is worn out but the pontoons are in good shape.

Prices I have found so far on these different sites are running up in the $1000's of dollars and that doesn't included shipping.

There is a guy here that has a used pontoon boat, well more like the pontoons and a few odd pieces for sale. I joke about it being a used pontoon kit. I'll get the number for you. Of course you'll have to come get it. Northwest Tennessee.

I'm in Oklahoma and wouldn't say no to a trip to the great state of Tennessee. Talk to him and see if he wants to part with the boat. Also, ask him if the trailer would go along with the boat. If the price is right, I just might be able to come out, thanks.
