Does anyone remember a posting awhile back on baiting a hole for crappie? I can't remember the thread topic but it mentioned how the old timers did it with a dead animal. I wanted to show that thread to a friend but I can't find it.

You know those maggots falling out of a dead carcass would work very well! Fish love em!
