dog selling trip and short fishing report

Stockton lake, Sold the Dog, caught a few fish, Crappie, Bass, Walley, white bass,and one big ole catfish,,,, all on cranks, all by the power line west of Ruark Bluff, all the way to Greaser Creek. and back again, kept zero, only had a couple hours to fish, but it was a good day, lots of sun,cool breeze. oh the walley and bass did not measure, and the only caught 2 crappie so they went back, the white bass were going nuts on the flat just before the mouth of greaser creek, out in the middle, I also seen about 100 jugs floating , the channel cats must be biting, man they was floats everywhere, one boat sat out on the flat just out of the mouth of twin bridges cove the two hours I was there, jugs all around them, seen a big ole cat that a guy caught trolling up by mutton creek, and he had a 6lb or better walley, and 6 crappie, he offered me the catfish, I said no, it was hugh, looked like a blue it was so big. first time on the water in 3 weeks, maybe longer, be glad when it cools down I miss fishing, starting to think I will change my name to Gbrown or something like that.

Sounds like a great day, all you needed was a big ole double cheese burger and it would have been perfect. Thanks for the report.

Reds makes the best burger in dade county, but alas not for me, down from 310 to 278, only 50 more pounds to go. one pound a week sometimes two. guess I should fish more and eat less...
