    Used Applewood, Bad Byrons Butt Rub, brown sugar and melted butter, cattlemans bbq sauce.......used the 3....2....1 method Oh yeh....I poured a can of Mountain Dew in the water pan

    Dang that looks good!! WHat is the 3-2-1 method? I've seen it referenced on here several times.

    Set smoker at 225....put rub on the ribs....cook uncovered for 3 hrs. at end of three hours brush down with mixture of melted butter and brown sugar....wrap tight in foil....put back in and cook for two more hours.....at the end of that 2 hrs. remove wrap and brush down with bbq sauce....put back in for another hr.

    I put some Prep H butt rub on some 12 oz rib eyes and they shrunk to 4 oz filet's.

    Hey G next time wrap them in plastic wrap before you wrap in foil. It will shrink wrap hold every drop of moister. The foil protects the plastic and will not melt. That looks great. You just made my diet not so desirable.
