Default Rods for Pushing or pulling 3 oz sinker rig

I have tried to find a 10' rod that would have about 5 to 6" deflection from center. Is this possible? Dose anyone use such a rod. I have two 7 foot rods by eagle claw, the yellow ones, for striper fishing that work well but would like to get out a little further.
The 10' rods I have are too flimsy to use for the 3 to 4 oz pushing rig.
    Any one have any ideas?

I use daiwa wilderness rods. They got good backbone and are very sensitive

I just looked them up and unfortunately you can't tell much about the rod from those pictures. Are you using the 9.6' rod?
I tried to use a Wally Marshall 10' but really too flimsy for this method.

The Fire Cast rods that Grizzly Jig has do a very nice job, get the glass ones. We push 2 14' poles and pull 8 a lot of times.

Thanks Rees 14 footers and then 8 boy that must be tough. Our lake with all the trees we would be stuck constantly. I'll work up to that maybe someday.
Just checked them out and they don't respond to the rod i.e. I type in Fire Cast rods and nothing came up.

If you have a catalog they are on page 45, they come in 10s, 11s,12, and 14s all in 2 piece rodds too, I like that. Priced from 19 to 27 respectively. They are called Promotional Glass Series, you may have to call them at 800-305-9866.
