glow stick rig

thought i would share a technique we have been using, with success. its for night fishing mainly, but could have attracting qualities in deep daytime water too. especially for yellow perch

basic set up, main line- swivel- leader- shot -hook setup,(below a float) as most always use. just add a tiny glow stick in there. the kind for bobbers. get some plastic tube that fits these glow sticks tight and cut a chunk about 3/4" long. drill a hole in one side at either end of this tube. make this hole just smaller than the top of your swivel, so it dont fall past. place it on your main line above the swivel and use a small split shot to hold it down. stick in the glow stick and fish it.

this glow rig also attracts, catfish, carp, perch, eyes,gills,............... you get the picture. lol hope it get you bit more at lake xxx.
