What to you guys think of the colors and type feathers in these jigs? They are both 1/16 oz.

Looking good buddy. I have never tried feather jigs much, but I may try just to see if I can catch some on them.

I have used feathers most of my jig life and have not used hair much, but I am making me some kiptail jigs for the spring to give them a good shot. They look great and clearly hair is durable.

The thing I like about feathers most is how they will undulate even when holding still. Look more alive to me.

Don't see why we can't do something like that. I send you a PM tomorrow, I got to go now to get some stuff done.

I really like the look of the 2nd one. I think that an all black body and head with a black tail with orange spots on it would be really good. I did some fish on a black and orange jig this year. It was all black with orange spots on it.

I've never really fished with feather jigs before, but they definitely look nice.

    Good job!
