An extra prayer for my friend?

This pick is of my best fishing buddy, Stape White Jr. As you can see he is the "Long" of our team Shorty Long. He is in the hospital trying to fight off pneumonia right now, in the middle of his chemo treatments. A lifetime fisherman for anything that swims. Just got off the phone with him and he told me he feels worse now than at any time during his radiation and chemo regamine (lung cancer that has spread to his brain). He bought his first real boat last year, planning for retirment in 2007. Croaker, spot, flounder, stripers, catfish and time with family and buddies are in his plans.

Just asking for a healing hand for him and his family. Even if the best healing for him is not here on earth, I pray that God will comfort Stape and his family tonight and in the future. Whatever comes, see them thru it.



Rest up Stape. We have fish to catch!

Oh wow I do and will send a prayer.

I have had pneumonia and I can tell you first hand that's bad stuff. You actually have to think about breathing and make your self breath.
