Several have them and their are posts about them already just do search. It's the weekend many don't get on here on weekend. I would wait on the new Minnkota if it was me but that's my opinion.

OK, I see that several have them and I can do a search and have read the post and that's why I would Like some current info. Also I am still young enough to deploy my trolling motor and have a couple questions to ask the people that have them. Also I see that these forums are full of people who just have to state the obvious and just have to say some thing. I know its the weekend and was not looking for answers today was just surprised to see that a lot of people had looked and know one had anything to say but you and you have not one shred of information. Also I am not a Minnkota FAN.

Dave, i have one and spotlock works good and also can move 5 feet at a time in any direction,if you have any question feel free to ask and will try to help you as others will also, but please respect other people who are trying to give you their views as they see them,information is great if we know how to handle it.i love this site and the people who help make it great

I have one
Had a Minnkota Terrova on my other boat they both are good units but in my opinion the Xi5 holds the spot better
But I liked the screen on the fod of the Terrova to see what number I was on for my speed

This is my question......When your on cruise does it hold speed or do you have to keep watching your speed to say like you are trying to hold a 0.5 and you keep going up or down with the remote.
