I talked to a guy in another boat there early this spring. He had caught several crappie. My son and I usually go for bass on Lenexa Lake, so I don't know where you find crappie there, but they're there.
Has anyone had success fishing this lake? I am thinking about fishing it when I can. thanks.

It's been probably two years since I've crappie fished there, but I've caught them in the standing timber and in the brush. Lots of dinks, never caught a keeper. Lots of good habitat for them, so I would assume the population would eventually be fairly good out there. The water is so clear that in the summertime I've seen crappie passed out in the middle of a hot day in the brushpiles. Probably a better night bite this time of year.
