Default Catch crappie from your home computer.

I found a fishing game for you computer types that you can actually catch quite a few crappie with. (black and white) It can be purchased for $10-$15 and for the money it's pretty good. 30 different species of freshwater fish, 10 different lakes, and 70 different lures including live bait with bobber. You can just go out and fish for any of the 30 different species or set up a tournament for black bass, pike, walleye, catfish, or panfish. The ten lakes that come with the game are:

    Lake of the Woods-Minnesota
    Sam Rayburn-Texas
    Lake Okeechobe-Florida
    Lake Coeur D' Alene-Idaho
    Lake St. Clair-Michigan
    Lake Champlain-New York
    Lake Texoma-Oklahoma
    Santee Cooper-Sout Carolina
    Lake of the Ozarks-Missouri
    Buggs Island Lake-Virginia

You only get to fish a portion of the lake. It's very easy to play and kids would have no problem with it. You get an underwater view of whats going on. (if only it was like this for real) Can get frustrating when you see a school of crappie swimming by in the distance while a bass attacks your jig. Biggest crappie I've caught is 1lb 15oz on a chartreuse jig. Here's a screen shot of me landing a keeper.

I purchased the game online as I could not find it locally, here's the link:

Well, my wife landed a 27lb Lake Trout yesterday and I can't have her holding the record for biggest fish in this household so I'm off to set a new record.

I still like my E A Sports Championship fishing game. Been playing it 5 years now and its still a challenge. I'm going to order one of the new ones to play.

I've been playing computer fishing games from way back when they had the original trophy bass and trophy rivers games from sierra. It was a super basic game but it was a blast. To date the best fishing game I've played is Trophy Bass 4. It has the best fishing re creation I've experienced. I have the infisherman game and have played it. Its a good game but more basic than TB4. I wish they would allow TB4 back online. What made TB4 great besides being such a complete fishing experience was its excellent online tournies with friends.
Good things come to those who bait.
