Not crappie but thought I'd share. Just finished the warrior dash in Michigan. Second year in a row.

This killed me (you can see it in the background). You swim out to a little plastic barge, then jump off and swim to shore. I kept thinking I could stand or at least touch the bottom, and I could not. I stopped swimming a half dozen times to check for bottom, which is what my mistake was, all that stopping and starting. I shoulda just kept swimming to begin with. You know, you're tired when you first jump in, and then this. I was beat tired coming out the water.










It tore up my shoes. They are in pieces. I had to untie my laces and tie them around the bottom of my soles to get through the escapade.

It really is a cool event. The obstacles are not stupid easy things. And there are 12 of them along a 3.2 mile run! Ain't as easy as you might think. Oh, and did I say, this was not my idea. Wifey made me do it!

They have it in Mt. Morris, over by Flint MI.

It's quite an event. They have live music. This year they had Shock Top Beer as one of there big sponsors so we also got a free Beer at the end of the run. Live life unfiltered.
