    Question Bait Bucket

Anybody know if there is a 3.5 gallon bucket that will take the same lid as a standard 5 gallon bucket? The 5 Gallon bucket I use for minnows (with a removable fitted Styrofoam liner) is just too bulky for me. I am hoping I can find a 3.5 gallon bucket that will accept the same liner and snap-on lid as the 5 gallon, an not be quite so cumbersome. Any insight/links/ideas are welcome.

You might check Letica's website www.letica.com They manufacture plastic pails in about any size you can imagine. They might have a customer service line that could tell you if a smaller capacity pail with the same lid size as a 5 gallon is available. Hope this helps!

Why not just take your lid to Lowes or Home Depot or maybe Walmart and see if it fits any of the buckets they sell?
I have a 3 gallon bait bucket with styrofoam liner that I got at a bait shop. Not sure if it would fit on a 5 gallon, guess I should try just so I'd know.
By the way, the lid to mine looks like the one in your post.

I have a 3 gallon water cooler. Its insulated and the lid fits tight. Just right for my stick boat. Not as tall as 5 gallon bucket . works great.

Yes they do make 3.5 gal with same size lid as a 5 gal. I have gotten several size buckets from local big grocery store with a bakery in store. They get all different kinds of frostings & filling in these buckets. After they empty bucket they just throw away. The lids will not reseal tight but I have other lids that I use.
