    Default Pan Fried Crappie!

I catch a awful lot of crappie, and I do keep a few.

I have a Phillips Air Fryer, a deep fryer, a wok, a oven, and a neat fry pan. I do the fillets every way possible.

We always pan fry, the deep fryer seems to make the filets curl up.

I agree G, less grease on the fried fish when it's done.

    wil,

Same here! I accidentally put the wrong link on my post. LOL I've tried them all, but simple regular flour, salt & pepper, with a little peanut oil and a little butter ......... best Crappie fillets ever!

    This is the correct one:

Quick note: For salt, I only use "NoSalt". It's in all the stores (usually hard to find because if a doctor goes in the store, he will try to hide the NoSalt! LOL Salt (sodium chloride) is what gives people high blood pressure and heart attacks, billions made every year so they don't want it to stop! NoSalt (potassium chloride) like a banana, it won't hurt you and it tastes just like real salt.

PS - If Slab deletes this post, that means he is working for the "for profit" healthcare system we now have?

I'm an exception to that rule, I'm a heart patient "aneurism" and despite how much sodium I eat, chips french fries, anything you'd put salt on, my sodium level runs low. Even had my DR. tell me to eat more salt. go figure

I was just in the hospital over night last week for a low heart rate and the doc told me too to eat more salt. As far as cooking my fish, I go with baked. Lots of great recipes on this site.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
