Saturday morning, temps in mid 80's, water
temp 88.1, "blue bird" skies, high pressure
30:13, 7a on the up swing to 30:17 by 11a,
before starting drop to 30:11 by 3pm with
thunderstorms approaching. Very high hummity with temps reaching 93.4 by 3pm.


Eleven (11) teams competed to conquer
the Tri-Lakes, despite the heat level.


Two (2) positions paid for "Big Fish"

1st: Darryl & Terri Cole
1 lb. 8.2 oz

2nd: John Young / Daryl Little
1 lb. 1.1 oz

Two (2) positions paid for "7 fish
catch weight"

8 lbs. 7.8 oz

2nd Tommy Kinsler / Angela Carpenter
5 lbs. 9.3 oz

Cole team fished Wally Marshall rods,
spider-riggin, minnow tipped, working
Skippers moon ice jigs, Green-Yellow zips,
Ron's zips in white/yellow & white/chart
collars in 4-5ft water(fish of size were
not deep, regardless of surface temp
in Carlton)

Kinsler team fished Marshall rods, spider-
riggin, minnow tipped using Skippers Jigs,
green/yellow & butterscotch, fishing Carlton in 4-5ft water.
