    Default Bucksaw 7/17

Took advantage of the weather and went dipping. Caught fish deep and shallow but most about 5-8 foot down. Kept 1 limit but released more than a limit of keepers. All on jigs blue and chartreuse was the best color.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1405686529.774825.jpg

How is the water color? Going tomorrow and was wondering either hacksaw or long shoal.

Water color varied depending on where you were. Seemed to me much more stained on the flats than on the channel against a bluff. You had enough color in the flats to see down a foot or so but you would still hit stuff with your trolling motor that you would not see. Good vis if you fished the right color. We didn't use any bait at all and still got a lot of hits but a lot of short strikes too.
