Default 58 degrees this morning in mid JULY

Well we've had several morning of low 60's degrees but I'm still doing nothing but getting my stuff ready for sept and winter jigging. I can't handle the hot weather ,TOO BAD but Cig's took my right lung and I learned a lesson. PLEASE don't SMOKE or you'll end up like me. Seating on the bank is not fun but need to stay close to A/C when temp get into the mid 80's. Each year as time goes on , my need to stay home gets longer. DON'T SMOKE OR CHEW CANCER IS NO FUN. Yes I'm a survivor, but the golden years aren't very golden. Not complaining just wanting to help you Guys and Gals enjoy the golden years. EACH DAY IS A GIFT. ENJOY

Quit smoking 20 years ago; dipping 10 years ago. I miss smoking more. I am going to start again in about 30 years. DP

Sorry to hear that you can't get out as much as I am sure you would like to. May God be with you.

good post rocket rich. I quit smoking probably 25 years ago or more. a dr I went to told me when I told him I'd quit that if I made it either 12 or 14 years without problems I was probably home free. it was one of the most stupid things I've done in my life. I won't go into the others. rocket has a brother that's a lucky person too and having only met him one time a very nice man. rocket is also. I kid him a lot on here but he made a good impression on me. that's hard to do.

50's low 60's is where I want to go in my next life.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

I've enjoyed the cool temps this week, got to sleep with the truck turned off and slept like a rock. Rocket, I smoked 18 yrs and for my 30th birthday I quit smoking. Turn 58 in November and so far all is OK. I'm always looking over my shoulder though.
