Anyone having problems getting to the home page?

I received emails from two members that could not access the crappie.com home page. Although I have made some changes to the site, the home page should be fine, but I still wanted to check with you all. If it don't work, try these two links to see if it helps:

Another reason I ask is I see fewer comments on the home page articles. If you all would visit it regularly, comments there are appreciated. It's kinda another side of crappie.com where when someone posts a good report, or anything good, I promote it to a home page article so everyone "catches" it. And if you see good reports/articles, please do not hesitate to PM me about them as well.

Yep, I had trouble. I had to reset my bookmarks on phone and comp. It just got stuck and wouldn't load. Like BB said, "it flickers"

Bookmarks may very well have changed. Johndeere5045, maybe update bookmarks or clear cache. It could very well be that your computer is remembering a previous URL (address).

Here's a little background. Crappie.com lost a lot of google traffic back at the beginning of this year because a software company called vBSEO went out of business. I had done some required upgrades and that software broke, and since the company was out of business, there was no way to get it fixed. Since then, another company (I think bigger and more reliable) has stepped in and created similar SEO (Search Engine Optimization) software, which I recently implemented. So that's kinda a short explanation of why the changes that took place. Google should start "finding" us again soon. Not that google traffic matters that much to all of you, but it kinda does because "site traffic" helps us get sponsors (and prizes).

Have I said this lately! Running a large website like this is a real PITA sometimes. But you all make it well worth the effort. Thank you all for your participation. Help me, help you, post comments to home page articles please.
