Fished niangua arm today off a dock, electric purple/chartreuse and minnows both, (used minnows more cause I'm lazy) 15-20 feet in brush just off the bottom, kept my first 15 legal ones but continued to fish the evening and probably caught another legal limit or so, enough dinks and brush I was kept busy all night. Not smart enough to get the pics to work, oh well.

Thanks for the report and congrats. Takes a wife and grandkids about 40-50 times helping me get the pics I can finally do it myself.

Thats really good! I went out early Sunday morning for a couple of hours. Have you ever heard of the word Skunked! Well, that was me. I have been doing fairly decent early in the am, but yesterday not even a nibble. I guess it happens.

When you cleaned the fish, were your filets pretty thin? I kept a few for dinner a few weeks ago, and fileted them up, was really suprised how skinny the filets were.

If i had to say one way or the other yes maybe they were a little thinner, but they were all white crappie too, i typically deal with black crappie, not sure if that has something to do with it for me or if its just me trying to be over analyitical.

To save on another thread i took my mom up again yesterday too, minnows only this time, 9 keepers for her 10 for me, haha, but she caught a couple channels too, fish were a little shallower i thought or at least the bite was, stayed in 15 fow more this time still pretty much just off the bottom.
