Rich ... ever since I switched from hollow tubes to solid body plastics, I have had no use for "glue" of any kind.

BUT .... back when I did use it, I used Loctite Super Glue Gel (control bottle version) :

Easy to apply very small amounts ... didn't dry up in the container as fast as squeeze tube glues ... dried quick ... did not deter fish from biting, even when application was only minutes old.

Never use glue. Not needed using the wire wrapped around the line tie post and formed into an L. to lock all lures.

Don't even use jigs with barbs and either order them without or cut them off.

I even tried the double barb jig head and with out glue they tear it off in three or foue hits, I will try the wire wrap, as most glues with dry up in4=6 months and that 13 bucks down the drain

Good! The wire wrap costs pennies for many yards and be enough for over 500 jigs.
Soft plastic lures can be used again either:
1 reused after being removed,
2 shortened and re-rigged using the clip or
3 by turning the body over and having the hook come out the opposite side.

Lure sellers will not like anyone using the above idea since it extends the use of their soft plastics for far more fish caught per lure. I've caught 30 pan fish on one soft plastic lure and the lure was never damaged enough to replace with another!
